Collectors Circle is a community marketplace for people who care about the stories, details, and odd little facts behind remarkable objects. It combines listings with collector profiles, interests, comments, follows, watchlists, and a personalized feed.
How the marketplace works
Independent sellers list collectibles and independent buyers purchase them through Stripe Checkout. The platform currently charges sellers 10% of the item price, holds seller transfers until confirmed delivery, and provides a structured refund and return workflow.
Trust is a product feature
Reporting, blocking, moderation, tracked fulfilment, delivery-gated transfers, verified payment webhooks, refund audit events, and background reconciliation are built into the application. They reduce risk; they do not make collecting risk-free.
Current stage
Collectors Circle is in a pre-launch test stage and is not accepting live payments. The policy set, image-storage system, operational monitoring, data-rights tooling, production payment verification, and legal review must be completed before public launch.
